Generating auth tokens to build your own integration

Custom integrations allow you to generate access tokens that you can use to make calls from an external client that your organization manages and maintains. For example, if you have an internal AMS or data warehouse, you can send data to FYTT using a custom integration authorization token.

To create a custom integration, navigate to the Integrations section (found underneath the institutional menu). From there, click the "New Integration" button, enter a name into the "Custom" field, then click "Create Token."

A unique auth token is generated for each integration you create. This token can be used to make calls to the API endpoint. It's recommended that you generate a separate auth token for each third-party client that you want to create an integration for.
